Jacqueline Pergola began her Irish dancing career at the age of 6, at the Davis Academy of Irish Dance under the instruction of Fedelmia Davis TCRG/ADCRG. At the Davis Academy, Jacqueline competed locally and nationally. She ranked top 3 at the Oireachtas and top 10 at the Nationals. Jacqueline has also qualified and competed at the World Championships. She has competed in many Ceili teams, where her team placed 1st at the Eastern Regionals.
Jacqueline also danced for the DeNogla School of Irish Dance under the direction of Alison Nagle TCRG and Jennifer McGovern ADCRG, where she also competed locally and nationally and was a title holder.
Jacqueline graduated from Ramapo College earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and an Elementary Education Certificate. She is presently a second grade teacher in the Paterson School District and is currently working towards her Middle School Certifications in both math and science.
Along with her Irish dancing background, Jacqueline is trained in classical ballet, tap and jazz, as well as classical piano. Jacqueline has a passion for the arts and enjoys working with and encouraging children in the world of education, dance and music. She looks forward to working with the McGough Academy, while studying for her TCRG.
