Megan DiBiase, T.C.R.G.
Megan began her Irish dancing career at the age of 7 and competed with the DeNogla School of Irish Dance for 16 years under the instruction of Jennifer McGovern, ADCRG and Alison Nagle, TCRG. Megan competed and earned numerous awards in individual and team competitions. She was ranked Top 10 in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships, Top 15 in the North American Championships, and medaled in the All-Ireland Championships. Megan also qualified and competed in six World Championships medaling in individual and team competitions.
During her competitive years she had the privilege of dancing at NJPAC, NJ Irish Festival, with Celtic Cross, and on NBC Philadelphia’s the 10! Show. She also performed in multiple Saint Patrick’s Day Parades, Irish functions, and was a featured performer at nursing homes, schools, weddings, and minor league baseball games. Megan also earned the title of Miss Saint Patrick 2007, a scholarship given by the Hamilton, NJ Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Megan is a graduate of Seton Hall University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. While at Seton Hall, she was involved in Greek life through her sorority, Alpha Phi, and won first place in two beauty pageants using her Irish dancing talent.
In January 2013, Megan took her T.C.R.G. (Teagascóir Choimisiúin le Rinci Gaelacha) exam and passed with honors to make her a certified Irish Dance instructor. She is a registered teacher with the Irish Dance Teachers Association of the Mid-Atlantic Region, Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America, and An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha (The Irish Dance Commission in Ireland).
Megan is now currently working as a full-time Registered Nurse in Maternity and is an Independent Consultant with Arbonne International. Megan enjoys sharing her passions with others and is looking forward to fostering her love of Irish Dance with her students.
